i'm sitting here watching tv and the caller id on my says I have a call. Only problem my phone did not ring. I checked on line at verizon and it says I got two calls at the time it displayed on my tv. Any ideas one was from a "private' and the other was "unavailable"

That happened to me too... because in error I activated my "Call Forwarding" ... to fix the problem... I deactivated the call

forwarding by....

 

Deactivating Call Forwarding Turn Call Forwarding off when you want to receive calls on your home phone.

    1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.



    1. Press *73.
      Dial 1173 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.



  1. Listen for two short tones.
    Call Forwarding is now off and you will receive your calls at your home number.

 

 

 

After following the "call forwarding" deactivation process my phones started ringing again... : )

I hope this helps anyone having the... no phone ringing problem.  : )
