Cross line, then no dial tone after Verizon "repair"

1.9/14  place a phone+internet order from Verizon, the salesperson said phone would
be OK after 9/15 5:Pm. The phone number is 301-xxx-xxxx
2.9/15  can't make any call except to Verizon, can't  receive any call; find the phone has a severe cross
line problem, sometimes when I pick up the phone, I can hear someone speaking!
Verizon promised to fix the problem, but I have to wait  two weeks. Can't use the phone during this
period. Tried to cancel the service. Give up after be transfered from one help desk after another.
3.9/18  begin to use DSL service, hard to connect internet every morning.
4.9/28  a Verizon technician come to fix the cross line problem. At about 2:00 pm, the
technician told me he had cut off the crossed line and established a new line for me.
There was no dial tone by that time, but it would be back in less than 2 hours. Internet
connection also cut off.
5. The dial tone never comes back. Can't use the phone, can't use the internet. Things getting even worse than before.
6. Verizon said "the repair request is isolated to your inside wire, jack or telephone
equipment" and refuse to repair it now. The fact is, before the Verizon technician cut
off the phone line, both I and he knew that there was no problem with any inside wire,
jack or telephone equipment.
What can I do? Any advice deeply appreciated.

Contact Technical support for phone repair, and have them come back out... If recently installed, you should still be covered...

Billing is automatic... You "should" be prorated for the down time.... But I would consult with Billing about that, to make sure your "credit" is entered on the account.

Update:

10/6/2009 4:47:00 PM   Your repair request was corrected in the outside telephone line.

The technician found that there was a "short" in the outside telephone.

Next is the billing problem. I was told by a Verizon rep that I have to call the prepare telephone to get the out of service credit.
