FiOS Phone Issue

We've had FiOS for around three years or so and have had an intermittent issue with the phone.  a couple of weeks ago, we couldn't receive any phone calls - incoming callers only hear a busy signal.  after about 30-50 minutes on the phone, the verizon support folks were able to clear the problem after eliminating 'do not disturb' as the issue.  this problem,  even though it occurred two weeks ago, continues to happen.  for example, if I were to call the house and hang up, and call right back, i would get a busy signal.  it'll show up on the caller id on the tv, but never ring.

 

any thoughts?

Hi encom,

Please go to your profile page for the forum by clicking on your name, and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Private Support Cases".

There you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

I've looked there, as you requested, but there is no information there - just my question.  No agent has asked me a question...
