Hey all - we're new FIOS trile play customers and I thought it appropriate to mention a GOOD customer service experience we just had.
I noticed internet went dead about 9AM Friday Sep 19th. Went to check a TV - no picture.
Phone was dead too. Gee I think I have a problem!?!?!
Went to the ONT box - sure enough it had red lights.
We called Verizon and went through a lengthy series of steps (rebooting the ONT?) to determine that we indeed had an issue.
Service guy was here within hours; our hookup had been dislodged probably by some work being done on a "hub" waaay down the line.
Anyway, we're very happy with that level of service.
BTW, with our plain old telephone service (which we recently had replaced with FIOS), we never had an outage in 13 years.
Great job.
PS:
I won't even begin to tell you about the service nightmare that was a daily fact of life with our previous cable based provider.
