I just called Verizon because I want to stop incoming calls from anonymous or unlisted numbers. The cust svc rep told me to dial *77, but when I did that, a recording said "this service cannot be activated at this time." I live in California. I am getting harassing calls from someone who knows me and knows my number, but their number is unlisted. I am literally terrified to answer my phone now and am having severe anxiety attacks. Is there any way to stop this. This person lives in California as well, but they are not in my local calling area.
