Incoming call block not working

Hello,

 

I have verified that incoming call block is enabled. I have blocked phone number {edited for privacy} and yet the number is still ringing to my home phone. Does this feature work when it wants to or should I contact support? I have verified that the number is in the blocked list.

The caller is probably spoofing their phone number.

So the phone number you are blocking is not the phone number that called.

Phone carriers will require real caller IDs June 2021.

So until then we are just wasting our time trying to block phone calls.

I am using a system that works!

I just unplug the phone line from my phone.

Then I can log into Verizon Fios Digital Voice when I want to review phone calls.

Also, I recently determined we can block 300 phone numbers.

As of today I am blocking 290 phone numbers.

Actually I have blocked a phone number, there was a call-back and the phone number was successfully blocked so I know the call blocking feature works.
