Do I need to call customer support and have them set up call forwarding since I am not getting a ringtone from my land line.

Thanks.

you have to call customer service.  it is not free though as it is "special" feature...

Well if you are having a physical problem, we can setup service recovery at no cost.  That will forward calls for a temporary amount of time. Just contact tech support @ 1-888-553-1555

Yeah it would be nice to be able to do this yourself.  If Verizon would offer "remote access to call forwarding" like AT&T and many other carriers have for the last 20 years you could do this yourself.

When is Verizon going to offer this to it's residential customers?

My understanding is with the Ultra Call Forwarding feature on your phone you can call a 1-800 number and forward your home phone calls yourself.  Call Forwarding is about $4.50 a month, Ultra Call Forwarding adds $5.50 .. at least that's what I seem to remember when I talked to them on the phone about it.

Correct, Ultra Call Forwarding is what I want, but it is not available anywhere in Texas, and only currently available in I think PA and MA maybe.  And if it's available anywhere else it's only for small businesses.....

Verizon when are you going to add this feature?
