Office phone can handle 4 lines, at one time we had 2 lines but that was discontinued years ago.
All of a sudden line 2 starts to ring. Verizon less than helpful and wants to check account for recent work.
It's not our account, you hooked up a new customer and since you never disconnected line 2 from at the box at the house, we now have an additional line that rings on the multi line phone.
I told mom she did not need to be there IF they ever come to fix it, they broke it without you being there, they can fix it without you being there. This is not the first time they have connected us to something they were not supposed to, the previous time the tech would never show up because the issue went away and they would call and check the line and it was good per their requirements. I had to drive 200 miles each way and wait all day for the tech that was promissed to actually show up, he did and went away to the panel down the street and found that it was not connect correctly. So much fun. I drop this hard line but the alternative is cable phone that mom is not interested in going out with power outages.
