I just moved into my new home and there was already service connected for telephone.  I signed up online for new service but with there already bing service here am I still able to have it turned on in my name?

Hi There!

The sales/billing department would be able to tell you if there is a disconnect order for the existing telephone number.  In order to have a new number installed, the old number will have to be disconnected.  Only the previous tenant (or landlord for apartment) would be able to get a disconnect approved.  The number for sales is:  800-688-2880.  I hope this helps.
