How can I prevent calls to directory assistance? I support and take care of the finances of a elderly (91 year old) friend who lives alone, is on very limited income and suffers from Alzheimer's. She's been frequently dialing 411 the past couple of months, increasing her phone bill by more than $100 per month. If this continues I'll have to deactivate her account.
I have the same problem and will have to switch to Optimum which does not charge for 411
