This situation is very odd. I have no dial tone, only static on the phone. Same at all phone jacks. Oddly enough I still have my DSL, but only if the phone is off the hook (static-no dial tone). If I hang up the phone I loose my DSL connection. Just started today on this rainy morning. Test jack on outside box and there is a dial tone........ I can not believe this oddity is an indoor wire issue....nothing has changed for years.

I did call support, but when you can not even talk to a person only a computer, it is hard to get to the bottom of anything, accept the warning that it will probably cost you a lot of money to get this fixed........

Try contacting Verizon either through the live chat feature or by email at:
Choose “Live Chat.” If a chat agent is available to assist you, the chat link will become live after the page is fully loaded.

The online chat person tells me they do not deal with repairs. I just got an automated call from verizon......odd because everytime I try to call my # it goes immediately to voice mail. Well after I hung up from the automated call, I clicked over and the line was fine with a dial tone. Then just a few minutes later, I lost the DSL connection. I picked up the phone and it was just static again. With the phone off the hook, the DSL comes back. How could this be a line issue? Why would it work for a few minutes when Verizon calls me, and then go right back to not working? Does not seem like my problem........
