My Verizon landline phone only works on sunny days, it is out again for the 3rd time in two weeks and the first appointment I can get is the 14th. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get Verizon to work on the phone when it is wet/not working; otherwise it is a waste of time for them to show up when it is working and say everything is OK. I guess it is too much to expect to have them look at all the wet splices between my house and the CO. I'm thinking it is time for a new landline provider or to give up on a landline all together. Frustrated in Gambrills, MD

I get the same problem and I'm considering changing my provider, it's also virtually impossible to get in touch to a live person to discuss the issue, on top of that my charges have increased.
