Pick up the phone and when you get a dialtone Press *72 then the number you want all calls transfered to. When you want to deactivate it, press *73.

Can you do this if you just have plain old regular service or do you need fios or something with call forwarding or what ever. We haven't had home phone service for 2yrs and it was just plain old regular servcie so I was curious. My friend has time warner phone and has the option to do this when she goes out. We switched our land line number of 20yrs to my verizon cell no problem and dumped the landline. Mary
