VOIP Telephone service in conjunction with Verizon modem

Is anyone using Axvoice VOIP service (Grandstream) with the Verizon MI424-WR REV F  The Grandstream GS-HT701 Handytone 701 ATA Analog Telephone Adapter?  I need help determining why it's not working and how to set it up.
