Does anyone here have any experience with not being able to enter their passcode for the Verizon Call Assistant voicemail retrieval service? Here is the error message I keep receiving.
Error We are unable to sign in to your Voice Mail system due to either an invalid mailbox or Voice Mail passcode. Please check your mailbox and passcode by dialing into Voice Mail from your telephone. Then reset the passcode in the Voice Mail Retrieval Settings section. If this condition persists, please contact our Customer Support Center at 1-888-483-5156
I tried resetting my passcode to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

My suggestion is to call the number in the error message, for support on your issue... Here it is again, incase you missed it 1-888-483-5156

Thanks for your reply but I work during the day and the support office for this service closes before I can get home to call. I can't call from the job. I guess I'll have to miss some work or maybe just forget about it completely. I didn't miss the support number as it in the original post. If anyone else can assist me without telling me to call the support number I would greatly appreciate it.

Are you trying to access the web based Call Assistant at www.verizon.com/callassistant ? Were are you sure that you activated the service? Finally, were you ever able to login, or is this your first attempt?

It's the web based call assistant. I had too many problems with the PC based CA similar to other users in another thread so I have just been using the web based CA for now. My service was activated and I do receive emails for every call received but the web based client will not accept my verizon voicemail pass code in order to retrieve voicemail messages. I have freedom essentials and I believe it should work with that package. I keep receiving the same error message as I pasted in my original post. Last time I tried was last night 3/31/10. Thank you for your reply.

I have this problem too. Has anyone found a solution? I have tried to enter my passcode from both the PC App and the Website, both give the same error message as the OP. Changing my passcode didn't work. I called the phone # given but hung up after 15 minutes on hold.
