Although Verizon cashes our monthly check, they refuse to fix our land line. A repairman comes but "does not have a ticket to repair copper" and leaves after a couple of minutes looking into the box. We have been told that the company refused to give authority to repair the lines even though the repair could be made. Meanwhile, it is impossible to get through on the phone. If a repair "ticket" is issued, its for weeks away and the repair is never made. Verizon has not sent us notification that the service is being discontinued giving us adequate time to notify third parties that our number is changing or making other arrangements for our fire, sump and burglery alarm systems. It seems they are taking our money for "services and equipment," with no intention of maintaining these. It is also impossible to get through to the billing dept to get "out of service" reimbursements. Verizon is simply the worst.
