Is there a way to set the number of rings before a call goes to voicemail?

Does anyone know how to set the voicemal rings to 5 rings instead of 7?

To change the ring count from your home phone, press 58# then press x (to set it to answer after x rings).

dial your access # press option 9 (mailbox options)then choose opton for "ring count"

the answer to this depends on your service / market area. in my case #58 or #59 do not work. also there is no mailbox option 9 for ring count. if you have neither you have to call and have tech support set the ring cycle. i am in the NE market area.
