Want to change home phone number

Message 1 of 4

I've been a customer of Verizon, for at least, two years.  I want to change my home phone number.  There have been way to many telemarketers and calls for people who owe money, who don't even LIVE here.  Since we can only block ten numbers at a time, I figured that this would be the best option.  Can this be done online, via Verizon's website or would I have to call them to do it?  Thanks.

ITs darn right hard to get them do by any means.  I think that probably is the most likely to get them to do it, but don't expect them to do if for free unless you are an Identity theft victim.

If you are a FIOS customer consider NOMOROBO service.

I hope that works, because it turned off my do not disturb, but I need the phone on for my doctor's office. If this doesn't work, I will pay Verizon to do it. Can you answer my question though on whether it can be done online or not...just in case I need to do it? Thanks for the information.

A hang up and a live telemarketer already?!  No thanks.  Just turned on the Do Not Disturb.
