Please help me to understand why I can't get a "land-line" where I live? I would like very much to be able to consolidate all communications in my home into a "bundle" w/ Verizon. I've had a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Family Share Plan for 3 years now-SEVEN lines! I live in a city in Southern Indiana and can actually see the Verizon tower from my front porch. It's not as if I live in the country, isolated from major thorough-fares... Has ANYONE else had a problem when trying to consolidate wireless, homephone, and the internet?

HI, are you saying Verizon isn't the local service provider in your area? If that is the case, that is why you cannot get a Verizon landline. The reasoning behind this are legal, logistical and architectural. I am unaware of any location where the local utility companies overlap service areas.
