We recently ordered double freedom and understood call waiting was included as a feature. Apparently this feature was removed from our old plan and not added back when double freedom was installed. Is this just an oversite on Verizon's part, or are we confused about the features that should be included. We understood the bundle to include Verizon Freedom Essentials (which should include unlimited long distance calling as well as 3 other features, namely: home voice mail, caller id, and call waiting). We have home voice mail and caller id, just not call waiting. Of course, because of the holiday, we were given instructions over the phone to call back to customer service on Tuesday. Anyone else experienced this problem with features being omitted? And, if so, was the problem corrected timely? One final note, those people who tried calling us yesterday while we were talking on the phone, immediately got a recording (home voice mail) and no "ring"....and we did not hear the "beep" to indicate we were getting another call. Is there something we should do on our end to activate call waiting....it sure doesn't seem to be working like our previous "call waiting", if in fact this feature is even installed right now. We don't think that it is.
