I have Verizon DSL & a Canon multi purpose Fax/Printer/Scanner/Copier. Everything was connected & functioning, when my phone line went dead. Verizon sent a technician out who disconnected every phone in my phone & found it was the line to the printer.
I've fixed it, but I can't get the fax to send. I can receive, but not send. I have the distinctive ring pattern & a separate number for the fax. I know I'm doing something wrong, but I cannot figure it out when I trying to reinstall the phone line.
I have a phone line from the wall to the splitter, in the splitter are the phone line & the line from the computer CPU. Then the splitter goes to the modem....
Anyone have any suggestions? What am I missing? (I am so ticked off that the technician just disconnected everything because I have a million cords to my computer!)
