missed bill in September? I don't think so.

For the last 24 months I have paid my bill by having my bank send a check to Verizon.  I didn't use autopay.  I like to review the bill and specifically authorize my bank to make the transfer.  My October bill says that Verizon never received the September payment, even though my bank transferred the $$ the same way it transferred the $$ the previous 23 months.  Has anybody else experienced this?  I'm hesitant to call Verizon because I have low expectations for V to help me resolve this quickly.  thanks,  D

If you have the proof from your bank I would call them right away and get it settled.
