unwanted calla

I have stopped answering my phone because of great amount of unwanted calls from sales, etc.   I s there a way to get rid of these?   Thank goodness for email.

Hi. You may want to do a combination of call block and anonymous call rejection. And even call intercept if its available in your area.

Fyi. Sometimes the calls are too numerous to do anything meaningful about and in some cases you might consider just changing your number. Verizon used to wave the fee if it is changed due to harrassing calls so if you go that direction at least double check if there is a charge and also try to register all your phone numbers on the national do not call registry. www.donotcall.gov
