I live in Montgomery County and saw the "A New FiOS TV is coming..." message on my menu this morning, but I never received an email from Verizon about the upgrade.

Last minute change? In regards to the Email, if you have turned off the option to receive advertisements or other Email from them,, you may not get some of the Emails.

I did not get an Email. I get very few. Why do I need to see advertisements for services I already have? I get enough Email. Thus mine is turned off. I read a bit here and visit the web pages, so I don't need to get Emails from them. I too have it on my boxes, and I am in Montgomery County, MD.

Ummmm.... Did I miss something? I thought the 1.9 update usually takes place on Tuesday mornings between 2-4 a.m. I'm up thinking this is going to be it or is it going to take place during the afternoon time, Like I've heard it's happened in some markets. Anyone want to hazard a guess?

Alright people... This could be it. I got out the shower about 20 mins till 4 a.m. and my boxes started flashing and cutting on, Then off. It's almost 4 and the process is still not done. So I'm hoping this is for 1.9 for us in DAC 3. All you in DAC 3 get ready this could be the moment we've all been waiting for. I will update when the process is done to be sure. Stay tuned!!

Yeah, I have it too in Germantown.

Although this may have been covered previously, I'm looking for a 2 TB external HD that will work.  This site only forwards you to a 1TB.  Does anyone have a 2TB that works?
