So I don't have to fumble with multi- remotes.  Ease of turning my cable box on and the TV turns on and auto tunes to the correct channel.  Have you not used this feature with a Bluray player?

physical media...i don't use it much for that, but it does server a decent media streamer as well Smiley Happy

I've used the harmony as well, but it still relies on a line of sight.  With CEC you can put your devices anywhere cause the controls are sent via HDMI.

fair enough.  The request is in the Idea Exchange... so help me get it some more votes... to push it into the "accepted" status.

Last thought... when you are contributing to Idea Exchange... please include the specific devices you would like to make sure we make work... I joke that HDMI stands for "Highly Deceptive Media Interface" B-)
