Hi. I returned my cable box and router over a month ago using the UPS/USPS labels and boxes provided. However, I received a follow up message today that the items have not been recorded as received. Is there a way to track the equipment using my account number ( as opposed to a tracking number)?

You would have to call Verizon and ask that question. Did you not get a tracking number when you shipped?

Verizon should be able to tell if the shipment has been received by them. But if a package was delivered to the wrong place or is sitting in a warehouse there is no way to track it down without the tracking number. In my working days I dealt with a lot of shipping and experienced both of those events on multiple occasions. It was always the tracking number that allowed the shipper to find out where the package was at.
