One of my two set top boxes is dead. I know this, because it’s been throwing up error messages, and is now non-responsive. Switched locations, yup, definitely the box. No trouble, I’ve been a fios customer from the beginning, so I’ll just get an exchange.
Online? Nope. Fios app? Nope. Text? Nope. “Funny, that one. Just a loop of accept these terms? I type ok. Accept these terms? Ok..over and over. Phone call? Forget it.
Why should it be so hard to exchange a set top box, which is obviously toast? 2020 has changed our priorities. COVID, a cancer diagnosis, etc etc. I think it’s time to chuck the things that make us frustrated, that shouldn’t. Fios might be a good place to start.
