Canceled FIOS but received an email of new order????

Today I called Verizon and scheduled a cancellation of my FIOS service on the day that my contract expires.
I made sure that I receive the confirmation number and instruction of how to return the equipments.
Couple hours later I received an email saying that I placed an upgrade order of bundled service, instead of cancellation confirmation. I am so frustrated. The office is closed right now and I am so tired of calling Verizon again.
Did this happen to anyone?
