Cannot redeem Amazon Prime

As many are experiencing, I am also having a hard time redeeming my Amazon Prime. Already read the FAQ and it does not help. Everytime I hit redeem on My Verizon page, it says there is a problem applying your code to the account because I am not a Prime member (which I am).
