I got a charge on my final bill for equipment I had returned. I have been with Verizon support for more than 7 hours in 8 different calls and they could not find me a person who can help. I have been transferre around, given phony fax numbers and phone numbers so far.

 

Obviously I am frustrated at this time. I am going to file a report to FCC and BBB. Does anyone have a phone number that I can reach return equipment center?

I've had your post copied to an employee monitored board where a Verizon representative can review your account details and reach out to you to resolve. You will be contacted by email and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account as soon as possible.

I have the exact same problem except its even more ridiculous.  I returned 2 set top boxes, 1 HD DVR, 1 digital adapter, and 1 cable modem in the verizon supplied return box and shipping label.  I had USPS carrier come to my house and pick up the box and even have a receipt from the USPS carrier.  Verizon then charged me $175 for a digital adapter.  Verizon first claimed I didn't return the digital adapter.  Now they are claiming maybe it was returned, but damaged.  However, they aren't even committing to that story.  Same run around whenever I call or email them, 1-2 will know.  It been 3 months!!!

 

I am filing a police report his week reporting that Verizon or one of it contractors stole the digital adapter, I have had enough!!!

I am currently experiencing a similar problem. I am being charged $350 for equipment that was sent back using the Verizon company boxes. That is $175 per TV adapter. Service has been discontinued for months.

 

Your site does not have live chat for billing issues so I am resigned to the forums.

 

Please help.

Hi TOC,

Please go to your profile page for the forum by clicking on your name, and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Private Support Cases".

There you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Wow...we just received a bill for $1,050 for a set top box that was returned over a month ago when we discontinued our service (due to outrageous pricing and very rude customer service)! When I tried to call, entered my phone number, pin number, was told to hold while they look up my account,,,and received a busy signal...each time after several attempts! Maybe if Verizon was better to their customers they would be losing them???? Definitely going to file BBB charges and contact consumer affairs. Very disappointed Verizon...

Hi kimba1972,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Verizon is the worst company on the planet - this same **bleep** is happening to so many people I have been reading posts on here hundreds and hunreds of them about the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE,  Horrible phone system.BILLING ISSUES,, EQUIPMENT RETURNED and still charged.. etc etc. they just keep doing it and keep getting away with it. they obviously don't care and have no intention of fixing their badly broken company.
