Early Termination Fee - with Renewal process

When you sign on to your Verizon acct during your last 3months of service there's a renewal banner to renew your service.  If you don't do it online and call it in, the reps don't mention that there will be an ETF charge if you downgrade your service.

It's pretty misleading, and Verizon get to charge this ETF with their customers.

The early termination fee is prorated do its like $30 for the remainder of your contract.

you simply don’t down grade until you are off contract. Nothing misleading about it.

a contract covers a certain period of time on both parties. Customers should read what their contracts say. And the end date which is on every invoice.
