I was promised a year of Netflix when I signed up for FiOS triple play last year. As most people already know, Netlfix recently raised their monthly price by $2/mo. As a result, the promo credit that Verizon put into my Netflix account has run out prematurely and I am being shorted 2 months of Netflix. As I was promised a year of Netflix, and not a $132 credit for Neflix, I feel Verizon needs to step up and make this right. Any thoughts on how I should proceed?
The promo was a prepaid credit for a year of Netflix. Existing Netflix account holders also received the monthly credit X 12. It’s not Verizon’s fault the Netflix raised their rates. If you still want to use Netflix then you will have to start paying for it monthly.
