If a triple play package included a promotion, downgrading to a double play before the term is up would result in an early termination fee.   They probably want you to talk to an agent so the consequences of downgrading can be discussed.  Trying to talk you out of it may come into the picture also.

How do you do it at the expiration of the contract??  The on line only allows changes to triple play not a change from triple to double at renewal??

One of those cases where you are forced to call them.

And would you believe it is often cheaper for triple play vs double play.

As TNS said you are going to have to call. Verizon used to allow you to delete services online through your account, but they changed that. I'm sure to stop people from easily doing it.

When you call just as for retention. Not only will they make the change for you, they might possibly offer you a better deal with all 3. Won't know until you try.
