I am in the process of securing a home loan. In the credit report from Equifax (not the others), there is a negative report from Verizon stating I owe them $1813 on an account from 10/14.
I am not, and have not been, a Verizon customer. I have no idea why this charge is on my account. When I call Verizon to resolve the situation I am told that since I don't have an account with them, and they cannot find a record of me, they cannot help me. How can I address this situation? Any help would be appreciated.

These forums are dedicated to Residential products and services offered by Verizon. Have you also contacted Verizon Wireless support to see if this might have been related to a wireless account?
