I made a silly mistake by paying my Verizon High Speed Internet bill twice.
I would like to know if the amount overpayed will carry over to the next bill or will I have to call Verizon and ask for a refund?
It carries over as a credit.
As was already said ... it will just carry over as a credit and be applied to a future bill. I would avoid calling to try to seek a refund, it will likely cause you more grief in the long run as the money gets tied up while they figure out how to send you a check for it and may well take longer to get back into your hands than when your next bill is due.
