I'm really upset to report that Verizon representatives have misled me to believe I would receive a "Teacher discount" so that my bill would be more affordable. They are NOT giving me the discount after expressing on the phone that they were thankful for my work as a teacher and they'd guarantee to get the discount so that I could remain with Verizon. At this point, I am seeing what other services can offer me a plan that is not an outstanding price that I have to pay on my own monthly. Very disappointed in Verizon at this time.
This issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent.
