Response to a Previous "Read Only" Posting

As I seemingly am unable to respond to someone's previous "Read Only" post, I chose to respond with a new one Man Mad  This is a follow up to PK2012 (11.29.12),  "Verizon FIOS Bait and Switch......................." regarding Verizon's complete disregard of an agreed upon contracted fee".  The same problem has happened to us.  Verizon is currently in the final stages of completing FIOS services in our community.  No sooner was FIOS available in our neighborhood, a salesman was knocking at our door to sign us up as customers.  (Be it known, though, that I have been waiting to obtain FIOS because i was still using "dialup", as cable was not available for my property....too many acres).  The fee that we signed up and contracted for is $23.19 LESS PER MONTH, than what we have been billed for.  We have not as yet discussed this situation with Verizon, but do intend to do so.  Not a good way to do business and retain customers.

Perhaps you failed to read they charge $59.99 activation fee which is spread over three $20.00 payments over three months.

You'll see it on the itemized monthly statement as "FiOS TV Activation Fee @ 59.99 Payment # of 3"
