Unable to use Verizon web site to order 500 gig DVR

It keeps hanging then failing to respond on the screen where it says it is checking to see if I am eligible.

I want this DVR, but the web site won't let me order it!

Yes, they have two 500gb models.  Cisco 435 and Motorola 7232, and they are starting to retrofit their older 7216 models with 500 gb hard drives, when you get one you check that model number and it will say 7216-1 (160gb) and 7261-2 (500gb)

If you don't have one of the 500 gb ones you have a couple choices. 

If you have a 7216-1 then you can add an external ESATA Hard drive upto 2tb. 

If you don't want to do that or you have an older model like the 6416 then you can go to www.verizon.com/fiostvcentral.  Log in there and then you will see an advertisement for it.   It will look like this. 

I think there is still a shipping/upgrade fee   One time charge of $40.00
