I turned in my broke dvr that sounded like a house fan in Dec 2013....They charged me a $500 fee on my bill....Verizon is all about $$ they call you to add to your service all day long....Verizon should be more customer friendly, specially when all their services you pay for don't work!!!! I just posted about how upset I was that I got charged $10 for bringing my DVR box back to the FIOS kiosk in my mall. However, the good thing is, they gave me a receipt with my serial number, the charge, etc., which is the proof I wanted in case there was an issue. Not sure how you returned it, but that was one reason I did not send it back via UPS.
