Hi, Everyone,

We understand that there has been some difficulty recently with our contact us form at:

   http://www22.verizon.com/content/ContactUs/

We would like to try to troubleshoot the issues.

Please reply back with the following:

*  web browser you are using

*  your computer type  (pc/apple/and mac)

*  what you selected on the email form under (Type of service, inquiry category, and inquiry sub-category)

The Zip Code you used before you got into our contact us form would also be helpful, but please  private message that directly to our department responsible for the contact us page at:  ResPhone.  We never want you to put that "private information" on the public boards.

I have not had any problems with any of the options, despite multiple tests. I'm using PCs, and have not had any trouble in any browser. I've tested with IE6, IE8, Firefox, and Chrome. If I had a Mac readily available I'd try it out, but I don't own one and none of my friends do either.

I've tried several different zip codes as well, although they've all been Texas zip codes. I guess I'm just lucky. 🙂

I used Google Chrome on PC laptop.  Tried Internet>Support>Tech support.  After selecting Tech Support it redirected me to a new page: https://www22.verizon.com/residentialhelp .I tried this multiple times a few days ago and could never get it to work.

The "Contact Us" just does not work.  I have tried to submit something 4 times now.  Using various setups.   IE8, IE7.  Using W7, XP, and Vista.  I have also tried using Google Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.   If you as a customer want to get an issue resolved, GOOD LUCK.  Verizon has had more than enough issues in the last 2 weeks with me to prove that they are VERY unreliable!  And that is "sugar coating" it.  I have not conversed with one individual with enough intelligence to deal with an issue properly.  They have wasted my time, and now my money.  They have lied to me, and they have made promises which were never made.  Have a great day with your "Contact Us" thing.  Sounds like you have it figured out.  If they don't have a place to complain to, they can't complain.  Good way to deal with issues.  They will not just go away, they will get worse.

Your Contact Us link still has a major problem.  It put me in an endless loop for quite some time today. Finally got into the forums and found a URL which I typed in directly and it eventually let me enter my Email to you.

It is mostly working fine for me(mac-firefox & safari).  I do notice some occasional squirrely stuff if I sign into the new My Verizon pages and try to get to the residential help pages.  But whenever it happens, I clear the cookies and all is fine again.

John51277,

Sounds like you found a great place to vent & complain.  The moderators are VZ employees so at least they are listening.  And, they are proactively trying to fix it by posting their request for help to narrow down the problem which seems to me to be quite an intelligent approach instead of ignoring it like an osterich that hides its head in the sand.

The pages you are talking about usually work fine for me.  When they go bonkers, I clear the cache/cookies and all is fine again.

It seems like it might be a system (like individual PC) problem since not all of us are having problems.  Those type of problems are particularly challenging to solve and depending on who you called for help they may not have the tools or knowledge (not to be read as not having ingelligence) to properly diagnose your problem.

Why not try to help solve the problem and provide more information about your configuration like they asked and see if we can get it to go away instead of creating the self-fulfilling prophesy.
