This morning I woke up to find that our FIOS internet service had been shut off. We have had no emails informing us that the payment is due or overdue. I haven't seen a paper bill yet. Is there some way for me to set this kind of email notice/reminder up on my account? We often have trouble with our mail being misdelivered by the USPS so it's important that there be some kind of email reminder in place. Email alone is not good since email servers can be flaky. Ideally I want a paper bill and an email reminder.
BTW, we're paying Verizon over $4000 per year when the family mobile phones and data plans are included. Shutting off internet service without any warning is a very quick way to lose customer goodwill.

Yes. You can set your account preferences to receive an email when your bill is ready. You can also set it to receive two email reminders before your bill is due.
To do this go to MyVerizon>> Bill & Payment. In the lower right corner under "Other Account Options" select "Setup Payment Reminder."
