How to get head of billing on the telephone as the customerservice  realy is not able to resove my issue of the cancelled account. Please help

Sorry to hear about your support issues... if you can be more specific as to what you need, I can get someone to help you. It's not clear if your account was canceled or if that's what you wanted to do.

Hi BeckyS,

 

Help!  I've been going round and round with customers service trying to get them to stop taking money our of my bank card after I've cancelled my internet and it's been cut off for over a week..

 

Over 2 days+ I've talked to 6 people (which I found out that altho it's an 800 number my cell phone is charging me minutes for those numbers)..  Chatted with a lady on the internet who directed me to call the customer service I'd called before and got charged for and ended up speaking to 6 people and got cut off once with..

 

My account is a little complicated (but it should be so much so).. I paid for the internet service at a nursing home I used to volunteer at in Port Deposit, Maryland..  We had to use the phone line in the the home which is charged to Mr. Donald Clark..

Mr. Clark paid for the telephone service and I paid for the high speed internet only..   Verizon took money out of my bank card for internet service and we did that for years..

 

I recently moved to Florida and needed to cut off the internet service..  I spoke to Margarita who said she'd terminate my service and send me an email with details..  I never got that email..  $44.98 (which to me is a lot of money) was taken out of my account a couple days ago.. Now why am I being charged in advance for a service that doesn't exist anymore..  Shouldn't billing ends when the service?

 

I spent hours trying to resolve my money.. Finally got a couple people to recognize the internet service had been terminated but not the billing?!?  I've been going round and round.. I tried to find Margarita but no one knows what office she's in (?)  Aren't there records of people calling in about their accounts?  Would employee numbers help?

 

Someone said "next billing cycle" there might be a "credit".. Why did they take it out in the first place..  I accessed "my account" and all that was there was what Mr. Clark pays for his phone and internet..  Not a trace of anything I paid..

 

I need my money.. Can anyone help resolve this?  Thanks in advance

Thanks,  I don't have the phone number for a "Verizon"account right now...
