eCenter? A black hole with non-existent customer service and sense of responsibility

The story of frustration and dispair.

I have been FiOS customer second time around for over 4 months and for all 4 month verizon web site HAS NOT BEEN WORKING for me. I have spend hours and hours on the phone with ecenter technical support and received multiple times assurance (at least 6 times, 2 times within last two weeks) that the problem will be fixed and I WILL BE CONTACTED BY THE RESPONSIBLE PERSON with update on the progress. EVERY SIGLE TIME I WAS EVENTUALLY DUMPED and left on cold - no working service, no phone call.

Here is the essence of my story:

in 2010 I closed FiOS account, let's say account A (no phone service)
in 2011 I openned new accout - account B with complete triple play.
I registered my new account and asked to preserve my online name that I used with old account. Since then I have NEVER been able to access my new account information. Ever. Numerous time different people looked at it, password was reset 10 times at least, numerous time tickets were filed (twice last two weeks) - to no avail . Nothing has changed. And again and again promise to follow up to the ticket were broken and nobody called me again.
Last week some "knowledgeable" person found out that because my mother account has my verizon email address as a primary contact (surprise!!! It is actually usefull in the case of 83 years old native Russian speaker) some Verizon backend system is choking. So another ticket was filed. I am still waiting to hear back on this "highly expedited issue". When I login now I still see my old, closed account but the web site greets me with my mother's first name!!! "Hello Raisa". Isn't it great?

I've had your post copied to an employee monitored board, where a Verizon representative can assist you.  You will be contacted by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account as soon as possible.
