I received a message supposedly from the "verizon Support Team" although the word Verizon was nowhere in the senders address which was: {edited for privacy}.  I need  to know if this message actually DID come from Verizon or is someone attempting to get my profile information?

Fake-fakity-fake-fake.

I'd be willing to bet quite a bit that link doesn't point to a Verizon site at all.

Don't click on anything in it. Forward it to abuse@verizon.net if you want to make them aware of the threat, but then trash it.
