Recycling Never Gets Old: Give Us Your Phone!

by Employee ‎11-24-2009 12:20 PM - edited ‎11-24-2009 02:29 PM

They say you should never bring your work home with you. But last week, we invited employees in our Irving, Texas facility to bring their home to work. Well, not everything just their old electronic equipment.

We wanted to offer our employees a convenient and eco-friendly way to dispose of and recycle their personal electronics. It was a great success. More than 3,000 pounds of materials were collected (that's heavier than a Prius). Our goal was simple: Make it easy for our employees to keep as much as possible out of landfills. We're already planning similar employee events throughout the country for 2010.
