I work with a small company, 5 employees total. I work from home in Florida and the company is located in California. I'm the only employee that works remotely and to successfully make it seem that I'm located in California working we had to use VOIP phone service. The idea of the phone system is great, but the reliability and quality of the calls is just down right awful. We are considering using another VOIP provider and I'm sure that it will fix a lot of our issues, but it won't ever be as reliable as a land line phone system.

The problem at hand is that we use VOIP service solely because of me. It is causing our company issues by having this VOIP service. Are goal is to have a fully operational phone system that doesn't cause lag, dropped calls, or system shut downs. All of our problems would be solved if we could somehow get a remote landline set up going. Is it possible to have such a set up while still be able to transfer calls, know who is currently on the phone, and associate with my employees as if I were in California?

Any advice would help and thanks in advance!!
