How about Verizon setup a rule like you would in Email. Forward all postings to a whiners' board that contain the words leaving or cancel. But make it a Moderators or Admins only board. Don't want to insult anyone.
If they made a complaint only forum you would see no one posting in this forum.
But seriously why do you have something wrong with people complaining? OP mentions "happy with what I chose"
Well listen here I CHOSE ALLTELL and was FORCED to use verizon! So great that you chose verizon's overpriced service that comes with horrible customer service but I did not and I was not given the opportunity to cancel my service.
Secondly, great for you that you have not had issues with customer service but those of us that have should not be shunned by the likes of you because we are expressing our disatisfaction with the pathetic customer service verizon has.
If you have a complaint they basically tell you "you signed a contract and in the fine print it says we can screw you" No matter if it is their fault you are having problems or not!
Now wait a minute, let's read back in the first two pages.. yes, that's it, good. Now we're ready.
Make a "complaint" forum, but call it something else, like "Off-Topic", or "Not Specified". Do not think of it as a place for random frustrated people to complain, but a way we can better organize our other forum sections. It would be great if all that clutter was moved elsewhere and the patient forum runners could talk amongst each other; intelligently. Most of you who are against this separate section talk about it like we are punishing people. As far I see it, and many others locally, this is a great way to unclog our forums, and bring civility back into the matter. From the lighthouse, I see much greater pros than cons.
The best way to complain is to drop your service and find another provider. Then those who stay can use this forum for help! I have learned so much from just reading the forum. Most of my problems get solved right here!!!
