So I am having a problem with my set top in master bedroom. After multiple attempts over the phone and chat to try and fix the issue the verizon rep is sending out a technician to look at it. She told me that if it is wiring I would have to pay a tech fee of $92 for the first hr and then 46 for every half hr. Are you kidding me?? These are the wires that Verizon installed less than 2 yrs ago why should I have to pay for this?
I had the same issue about a week ago. I told the tech don't bother if there is a fee....he said there are only two things in your house, the splitter and the cable, and that it would be cheaper if I just tested them myself....they only cost a few dollars each. You may want to try that first.
