loan.JPGThe Verizon Small Business Center is a resource for any business to use.  In fact, on the same day the President proposed $30 billion dollars in new loans for small business, the Verizon small business team held another in a series of free webinars - "How You Can Secure Credit for Your Small Business in Today's Market" featured Anita Campbell of  smallbiztrends.com and Thomas Markel III of iBank.

Markel covered the many options available to small businesses and finance sourcing brokers like iBank.  The big push at the Federal level will be to move more money into small businesses sector through loans, such as the SBA 504 that many businesses take advantage of through their local community banks.

You can check out the recent webinar on the Small Business Center site and, while you're there, you might as well sign up for the free 30-day trial of the Verizon Collaboration Center, powered by Cisco WebEx.  It's a great tool for collaborating with employees or customers - you don't need a credit card either. Just sign up and your automatically entered to win one of 15 Flip MINO HD camcorders given away monthly by Verizon.

In addition to the free webinars, there are exclusive articles from Mashable; loyalty programs you can enroll in to earn points redeemable for many gifts to share with customers and employees.  You'll also find discounts through the Verizon Small Business Center on everyday shipping or credit card processing needs.

And don't forget, there's another way to secure some free consulting advice - do a short video for The Better Way Challenge as a way to show how your business is meeting challenges and finding success.  You might even win a free consultation with business consultant and guru Guy Kawaski or the Cisco Internet Business Solutions Group!
