Veteran’s Day celebrates and remembers those who've served their country. Did you know that nearly a quarter of them want to or plan to start their own business and use their military experience to get startups underway? The National Federation of Independent Businesses notes that its Index of Small Business Optimism has improved by 2.7 points in October but still remains in recession territory. And the Thomson/Reuters Paynet Index confirmed that small business loans have jumped in the past month.
